EDC, in partnership with AustCham Lao, is hosting a 1-day training on the topic, Leadership & Accountability. The training will be conducted in Lao language and is available to AustCham’s Members and Non-Members. Developing strong personal leadership and a deep sense of accountability are fundamental for success both professionally and personally. Personal leadership empowers individuals to take initiative, drive their own growth, and inspire those around them. Coupled with accountability, it fosters a culture of ownership, where individuals take responsibility for their actions, commitments, and outcomes. These qualities are vital for professionals at all stages of their careers and life, enabling them to navigate challenges, achieve their goals, and contribute meaningfully to their teams and organisations.

Objectives & Outcomes of the Training:

Leading Yourself:

• Cultivating Personal Leadership: Discover the core principles of self-awareness, initiative, and personal growth that empower you to lead yourself effectively.
• Developing into a People Leader: Explore how strong self-leadership forms the bedrock for inspiring and guiding others.
• Fostering Leadership and Accountability: Understand the crucial link between personal accountability and impactful leadership, setting a positive example for those around you.

Building High-Performing Teams:

• Creating an Accountable Team: Learn strategies to cultivate a culture of ownership and responsibility within your team.
• Mastering Effective Task Assignment and Delegation: Develop the skills to clearly define roles, delegate effectively, and empower team members to take ownership of their tasks.

As the training will be conducted with a relatively small group, it will be highly interactive with the opportunity to interact directly with the trainers and other participants involved in the training.

Participants will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion at the end of the day.
