AI for Business Productivity and Responsible Adoption – 1Day Training (Lao Language)

Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming a practical business tool that can support productivity, communication, customer engagement, research, content creation, analysis, and decision-making. Yet many businesses in Laos are still unsure where to begin.

AustCham Laos, in partnership with our member XM Technovator (XMT), is hosting a one-day AI Training program called “AI for Business Productivity and Responsible Adoption.” This program is designed to support AustCham member organisations in understanding AI fundamentals, using AI safely, and identifying realistic, practical opportunities to apply AI to real business challenges. It will be especially useful for company owners, managers, and team leaders, but all levels and sectors of your team can find immediate, practical applications.

In today’s rapidly evolving business environment, organisations in Laos face increasing pressures to work faster, improve service quality, and reduce repetitive tasks. This training responds to those challenges by equipping participants with practical, accessible tools to understand what AI can and cannot do, how to use prompts effectively, how to protect confidential and sensitive information, and how to apply AI in ways that create real value in daily operations.

The training combines accessible learning with practical business application. The morning session provides a strong foundation in AI use, responsible practice, and adoption readiness. The afternoon moves into applied workshops — three hands-on labs where you’ll test AI on real business tasks, develop actual use cases, and build a 30-day adoption action plan tailored to your company.

Objectives & Outcomes of the Training:

Understand what artificial intelligence and generative AI can and cannot do in business contexts
Learn how to write effective prompts and test AI on everyday business tasks writing, research, communication, planning, and decision-making
Identify realistic and relevant AI use cases that can improve productivity in your specific role and organisation
Understand responsible AI use, including data privacy, accuracy checking, ethical considerations, and internal guidelines
Create a practical 30-day action plan for testing AI in your company in a low-risk, value-driven way

Hands-on testing of AI tools using real or sample business tasks
Real-life case studies tailored to workplace contexts in Laos and AustCham member sectors (marketing, operations, finance, admin, HR)
Guided exercises exploring AI applications for communication, content creation, data analysis, and business planning
Group discussions and peer feedback on practical AI outputs
Scenario-based problem-solving activities
Reflective exercises on responsible AI deployment
Practical action planning for company-level AI adoption
