Responsible Business Conduct (CSR) Forum

Join us at the second Corporate Social Responsibility Forum, co-organized with the Office of the Embassy of Canada. The Forum will bring together experts and professionals alongside high level officials from the Government of Laos to discuss the CSR practices and challenges in various sectors in Laos such as Mining, Agriculture, Hospitality as well as best practices and practical, cost-effective action plans for SMEs.

Responsible Business Conduct is about integrating the management of risks to the environment, people and society within the core of business activities. Responsible and sustainable business principles and standards set out the expectation that businesses – regardless of their legal status, size, ownership or sector – contribute to sustainable development, while avoiding and addressing adverse impacts of their operations including throughout their supply chains and business relationship.
During the RBC Forum, AustCham Lao will also present the CSR contest to recognize AustCham Lao members outstanding achievements and Responsible Businesses in Laos.
