First Aid & CPR Training (Course In Lao)

With borders closed, knowing the skills you need to help adults and children during many emergency situations is more important than ever. This is the first time that AustCham is offering first aid training classes for its members and a great opportunity to learn or refresh past learning of First Aid & CPR techniques.
The course is organized in collaboration with First Aid Services, and will be run by Zain Iqbal, a certified American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider and holder of a Japan BLS Association Instructor License. Zain is also an active instructor of the Emergency First Response Corporation, with extensive First Aid training experience in Laos.
The course focuses on the three principles of prevention, preserving life, and preventing conditions from deteriorating, and covers:
Introduction to First Aid
Roles and Responsibilities of the First Aider
Safety, Prevention and Personal Protection
Using Bystanders and Casualty Management
Responsive and Unresponsive Casualties
Infant, Child, and Adult Resuscitation, Choking, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Automated External Defibrillator
Dressings and Bandages
Minor Bleeding and Wound Care
Bone and Joint Injuries
Head and Spinal Injuries
Burns and Eye Injuries

Fees: Member: LAK500,000 / Non-Member: LAK700,000
